Curtains for Cafés and Restaurants

Consider daylight, table layouts, service routes and maintenance together. Interior textiles and shading for terraces or conservatories are selected for different conditions.

Interior atmosphere and circulation

Compare sheers, curtains, roller and Venetian blinds against sunlight through the day. Coordinate colour and texture with the interior, and allow open curtains to stack without narrowing table or service routes.

Terraces and conservatories

Screen fabric, motorised roller blinds or zip screens must suit the façade, opening and fixing surface. For exterior systems, confirm exposure limits and operating conditions from manufacturer data. An indoor fabric is not automatically an outdoor product.

Care and nearby heat sources

Frequent handling, food vapour and staining affect the care plan. Do not assume absolute stain resistance. Assess the position near heat or open flames and verify any required material performance for the selected product.

Controls and installation

Choose manual or motorised operation around the staff’s daily routine. Resolve the opening schedule, samples, electrical provision, service access and installation phases before production.
