Use a collection swatch for initial selection and a larger sample to judge colour, texture, light transmission and drape under project conditions. Wherever possible, view it at the window and alongside the other specified materials.Why it matters at project stage
A small sample may not show the full repeat, face direction or hanging behaviour. Project review should cover daylight, artificial light and the effect at different viewing distances.

Verify the product and colour code, sample size, face direction, hanging drape, current technical documentation and whether a control sample is required.
Reaching a project decision
Review visual suitability first, then light transmission, care and any documented performance required by the brief. Retain an approved reference sample on critical projects.
Coordination through delivery
Log sample dispatch, return, approval date and revisions. When proposing an alternative, compare composition, usable width, care and technical data as well as colour.
