Comparing Textile Samples in the Same Space
Compare textile samples together in their intended room, close to the window and furniture where possible. Review daylight and artificial light, face direction, sheen, transmission and contrast with surrounding finishes.Why it matters at project stage

Use sufficiently large samples, correct face direction, both daylight and artificial light, the adjacent project materials, intended viewing distance and a traceable approval reference.
Reaching a project decision
Judge the overall balance from a distance, then inspect texture and quality at close range. Hold curtain samples at the window and support upholstery samples at an angle similar to the furniture.
Coordination through delivery
Label the approved sample with its date and location. Repeat the comparison under the same conditions whenever an alternative is introduced.
